Of the rhythms associated with gun music, the pasodoble is the one that is least recognized, as there is much ignorance regarding its character of Venezuelan rhythm. However, it is closely linked to many social and cultural events in the country's history and especially in the city of Caracas.
For that same reason I wanted to write a pasodoble that spoke of those characteristics, of that remembrance. This is how this pasodoble was born, which to be as direct as possible, I placed as the title A Pasodoble.

De los ritmos asociados a la música cañonera, el pasodoble es el que menos se reconocimiento se le da, pues hay mucho desconocimiento en cuanto a su carácter de ritmo venezolano. Sin embargo está estrechamente ligado a cantidad de eventos sociales y culturales en la historia del país y sobre todo en la ciudad de Caracas.
Por esa misma razón quise escribir un pasodoble que hablara de esas características, de esa remembranza. Así nació este pasodoble, que para ser lo más directo posible, le coloqué como título Un Pasodoble.

Von den Rhythmen, die mit der Cañonera-Musik verbunden sind, ist der Pasodoble derjenige, der am wenigsten erkannt wird, da hinsichtlich seines Charakters des venezolanischen Rhythmus viel Unwissenheit besteht. Es ist jedoch eng mit vielen sozialen und kulturellen Ereignissen in der Geschichte des Landes und insbesondere der Stadt Caracas verbunden.
Aus dem gleichen Grund wollte ich einen Pasodoble schreiben, der von diesen Eigenschaften, von dieser Erinnerung sprach. So wurde dieser Pasodoble geboren, den ich als Titel Ein Pasodoble setzte, um so direkt wie möglich zu sein.
