Poetry 365 | Day 6 | Children Of Care
Children Of Care
In each of us there dwells a ribbon
Whose colors never fade in sun
The brightness of our virtues shine
Even when they've been undone.
The corporeal nature of our sight
Will deceive our ethereal selves
If we give ourselves to blight
And forget that we are elves.
For Natural Law is not inert
But a real, living, immutable thing
And karmic actions are at work
In our every day to day.
We must push back against the flow
Of Deus Ex Machina mentality
Accepting the now that we have sewn
But not the deceptiveness of blind decree.
We must stand and walk away
From lies that tie us to the darkness
For the Universe is not made of gray
But a tapestry of colored finesse.
Join me fellow Children Of Care
Let's unmask the blandness everywhere
Let's challenge made up paradigms
And overthrow the false delights.
For looking back we must not say
We gave our everything away
Just to make a buck today
Submitting to this slavery.
