Hey Foodies! I feel like I am always putting out a lot of sweet "unhealthy" recipes and I wanted to switch things up and put a dare I say "healthy" recipe for you all out here in social media. I would love to put more healthy type of videos for you all because truth be told we all need healthy options. Now don't get me wrong, I love junk food but everything in moderation (at least thats what I hear all the time). This Banana Cream Chia Seed Pudding is a fun twist on a Banana Cream Pie (which is delicious) but this one is much healthier and you wont have all the guilt that might come along with eating the real Banana Cream Pie haha. Banana Cream Chia Seed Pudding
¼ Cup Chia Seeds
½ Cup Full-fat Coconut Milk
½ Cup Almond Milk
1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
1 Banana (mushed up)
1 Banana (sliced)
Coconut Flakes (optional)
In a bowl add in your chia seeds, coconut milk, almond milk, maple syrup, and your mashed banana. Whisk everything together until everything is combined. Refrigerate for about 2-4 hours or until your mixture has firmed up and chill. Take out of refrigerator and put into serving cups, top them off with your sliced bananas and coconut flakes. Enjoy!
