This is entitled Surviving A Traffic Stop because that should be your goal. Not everyone survives a traffic stop. Nothing good will ever happen during a traffic stop, but there are many bad things that could happen. These range from a fine to being killed. Yes, many people have been killed during a traffic stop, that's why your goal should be to resolve the stop as quickly and as safely as possible. Don't get angry or agitate the officer; you don't know who you are dealing with. An officer has almost unlimited discretion on the side of the road. It's better just to take the ticket and move on.
