We spent really great time in ''Our Steem'' show that was hosted in .
First of all we were and are still excited about the event we will have this year and that's steemfest 4 that will be in Thailand.
So, we discussed the benifits of having steemfest there and we talked a bit about previous
and even about
.
After that we started to discuss the main topic we had and that's ''Communities''.
gave a lot of great tips about how to build and empower communities and you can read about that here : Tips On Building A Remarkable Steem Based Discord Community
Thanks as well to who supported the discussion and shared his ideas about the topic and for being always around.
Thanks to ,
,
for participating as well.
Thanks to one of the admins of
for being so active.
We talked as well about the ipfs and the importance of hosting files there.
We also talked about the marketing in steem and what we should do to promote it better.
Things I personnally learned from the previous show are :
- We have to find the most dedicated members in the community to build it up together.
- We have to reward those members to motivate them to keep their great work.
- We have to be consistent in our actions no matter what.
- We have to use the best tools and dapps to reach more people.
- Communities have a big role in steem and it's ok to spend a part of our earning to promote steem.
- Behind each application there is a community and the team of those apps should do something about marketing their apps as well.
- We also discussed the power of
and we didn't really understand and me neither why they are not using their power to upvote content in steem.
My thoughts were : '' Maybe they just consider steem power as gold, so if we distribute the gold to everyone, it may lose its value and the same about steem power, maybe if stakeholders will use all their steem power and always upvote people, the price of steem will go lower ?'' Those are just my thoughts, maybe I'm mistaken, I hope I will understand someday why that's happening. I hope it's done for the better of the steem community.
The best thing I liked about the show was a brainstorm that made us come up with great ideas with interesting people and we spent really a great time enjoying our discussion.
