MRT Ride and Siam Paragon Cinema - Bangkok VLOG 7
Sights and sounds of a day in Bangkok. MRT underground and BTS skytrain to a nice cafe, then back to Siam Paragon to catch a movie.
The MRT was taken from Petchaburi to Silom. Then the BTS was from Sala Daeng (Silom) to Chong Nonsi.
Tazzina is a small cafe that is very highly rated for coffee and food. It is just a short walk from Chong Nonsi station. They have an extensive menu and I will definitely return as the offerings were excellent. An all day breakfast and flat white coffee was ordered
Siam Paragon is a large upper class shopping mall located next to Silom BTS station. It has luxury car dealerships on regular shop levels.
The guy who jumped the queue at the cinema was included for the reality of the lack of manners of some people around here. I was actually pleased he did it so I could switch the camera on him to see his sheepish reaction.
The Starbucks coffee was pretty bad, croissant was nice though. I've noticed there is quite a difference in the taste and presentation of Starbucks coffee from store to store, it can range from good / average / to undrinkable frothy disasters.
Mad Max Fury Road was watched in 3D. Ticket was 330 baht and glasses were 50 baht. Great film but it was a bit loud as my ears were ringing for the next day after. Would love to test the decibel level of some of these Bangkok Cinemas to see how loud they actually are. The Singha beer at the cinema was only 65 baht.
