Hi everybody! Here comes my second Dtube Video!
I am currently in Costa Rica Tamarindo Beach for two month to study Spanish and getting better at surfing.
I stay at a nice big house with other students, I have my own room and a shared kitchen so really amazing.
Today I am going to show you my way to the beach, how it looks like at low tide, first impressions for you. Tamarindo is really touristic, if you don’t speak Spanish don’t worry, everyone can speak English here. The prices are unfortunately also pretty high, for a good meal you will pay around 15 dollars up to 20! The beach itself is beautiful!
Can I surf in Tamarindo?
Of course you can! Tamarindo has a beach break and is an awesome place for beginners and intermediates. There are a lot of rental places for Surfboards which offer 1-2 hours for 5 dollars and one full day for around 10 dollars. You can pay with Colón de Costa Rica but also with normal US dollars at almost every place, it is even really normal to pay with your credit card.
Who to get here?
Tamarindo is a short bus drive away from the airport Liberia and also reachable by bus from the capital San José in Costa Rica. I had to pay 20 Dollars to get here, but there are cheaper options that take a little more time from the bus terminal Liberia.
So I could really recommend you to visit that place if you are near and also to check out the beaches Playa Hermosa and Playa Panama that are close by.
Happiness is not a destination, it's a way of life! Travel the World!
