In this video I begin to reveal our work transforming an off contour lot into an on-contour lot.
In this series I will be exploring steep slopes and how I deal with them.
Geoengineering takes a lot of work, but can be very satisfying. Currently I am working on a number of slow geoengineering experiments across our Investigation Center of a farm.
Here is a steep slope that has had coffee plants for 9 years. I am cutting them low and revealing the actual shape of the land, plus all the things we have planted here over the last 6 years. The coffee was never planted on contour, so by removing it we can remark some contour lines and plant accordingly.
In this episode I also show and share some thoughts on 's bird feeder experiments.
