My Birthday!

The morning treated me to a rare "firebow!" I am blessed to live in one of the few areas of the world that gets them, unfortunately I did not get a great picture of it...

My friend Hive account@warpedweaver treated Hive account@longsilver and I to a delicious lunch at our closest awesome restaurant where we always like to sit at "r" table... :) Since we had decided to stay home and have a very quiet New Year's Eve, we were all in good shape for a birthday beer with lunch. CHEERS! (And check out that awesome shirt I am wearing - THANKS Hive account@papa-pepper!)

We tried a self-we outside, but I cut off part of the hippie! So I clicked again quickly, but not before we had a change of roles. The part of my husband will be played by random photobombing stranger for this slide... LOL!

I snapped a few pictures the gas station, they will be appearing soon in a permaculture post. This is the biggest "city" in our county, that is the "highway" behind the pumps. Then I ran across the valley to pick up milk. I am telling you, I live in a POSTCARD!

When I got home, friends stopped by and we just chatted the evening away. A few chores later, and it was time to howl at the moon... I wish I had some audio of the coyotes last night but I stayed in my bed while they serenaded me to sleep...

It has been an amazing end to 2017, and I embark on 2018 with hope and excitement I have not felt in many years. I have met the most amazing people on steemit, and I am so thankful to have you all in my life!
