The Down Under Build: step 1

This is an exciting series that I am going to call the Down Under Build. I am not sure how many videos I may be able to squeeze out of the build, but I would like to share it step by step.

I am doing a custom build for a new friend that lives in Australia! Hive account@galenkp !That's right, I will be shipping my tools internationally. This is a huge step for me as a creator. My work has been noticed, and someone is willing to ship it around the world.

Today is the jumping off point for the piece. I am laying out the lines and then profiling the blade. There is alot of grinding involved, and alot of thinking. During this step, the blade is still sorting out what it wants to be.

I am going with a 7 to 8 inch drop point. I am going to couple it with maple scales, and I think some stainless steel pins. I am looking forward to what this build is going to teach me. Each blade has something new for me to learn.
