Hello dear Dtubers and Steemians,
here comes the next part of the little Vlog documentation of my trip to the Kournas lake on Crete island!
In this part I finally arrived at the Kournas lake and rented a water bicycle to explore this beautiful lake.
The Kournas lake is the only natural freshwater lake on the Greek island of Crete. It is located in the west of Crete near the north coast near Georgioupoli.
The outflow of the lake flows into the Mediterranean Sea at Georgioupolis. It is the home of turtles, snakes and various dragonfly species.
Unfortunely I haven´t seen turtles or snakes, but it was a very beautiful trip and I enjoyed to explore this lake with the wonderful clear water a lot. It was also a very hot day and the water of the Kournas lake was very refreshing, more refreshing as the sea.
