I have recently achieved one of my goals of 100k Subscribers on Youtube. The ironic thing is that I am often more excited to make Dtube videos and post on the Steem blockchain, then I am to just post on Youtube.
I have been posting videos on Youtube for 7 years now. The first 5 years of posting on YT I only accumulated 2,500 subscribers, then in the last 5 years I have gained over 100k. The reason for this is because in the past 2 years I have really put the pedal to the metal, and focused on creating as much value as I possibly can.
Looking back at the time it has taken to reach this goal, it reminds me of a quote by Bill Gates which says “Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.”
When reading this quote it also gives me a different perspective on #Dtube and the Steem blockchain. Even if the price of Steem stays where it is, or drops within the next year or two, I am confident that within the next 10 to 15 years #Dtube and Steem will be incredibly valuable.
The more I learn about crypto and the power of this blockchain, the more I am excited to wake up each day and share as much value as I can on here.
I have a new goal on Steemit, which is to gain at least 1k followers by the end of this summer, and a bigger goal of achieving 5k followers by the end of this year. Now that I have set this goal, I will begin working and doing what I can to daily get one step closer and turn it into reality.
