Does this mean I teach pianos?
Yes .... yes it does.
I found this footage last night. It's a series of videos I made in preparation for my move from NY to Texas. One of the teaching schools I was applying for asked me to send some videos of performances.
Another video I made around the same time was the Charlie Brown song. That was actually one of my first posts on Steem which got Curied and blew my mind because back in 2017 Curie votes were huge.
Anyhoo ... the school I sent these videos to never asked me to come in for an interview ... because they're a bunch of assholes! lol
But I ended up getting a job at an even better teaching school so ..... ha!
This piece is Arabesque by Burgmuller. It's one of my favorite pieces to teach. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to teach it much because all of my current students are very tiny people who have only been alive for about 6 years.
I mean, I guess I could try to teach it to them, but I think they might become angry and kick my shin.
And I would prefer not to be attacked by tiny humans, thank you.
The strange thing about this video is that it is reversed and I don't understand why.
I just recorded it using my phone ... or maybe it was my ipad, I don't remember.
But the right hand of this piece plays the melody and it appears on this video as my left hand.
I have no idea why.
I blame the aliens.
Also, I just noticed that grammarly is showing me an emoji at the bottom of my post that represents the "tone" of my post:
I hovered over the emoji and here's what it said:
I don't know whether to start laughing or crying at this point.
I've been suffering from The Plague (I've had a bad cold) for the last several days and I'm trying my best to get shit done and now grammarly is judging me! lol
