It isn’t a homestead by anymeans so how about I just call this place the Splatt-stead. We are just trying to utilize the space we have to grow some of our own fruits and veggies. We just have to keep them protected from those Wild Runner Ducks we have.
This year I need to switch things around a little bit to make some more room. With the addition of a few extra planter boxes attached to the posts of the deck, it should free up some good space. I have 2 more Fuji Trees that need transplanted and moved in the back or wherever I can get them. I have also entertained the idea of adding boxes between the metal fence posts too. Those would be great space savers and a great way to add more space for growing stuff.
In the video I go over the plan I have to better utilize the space for maximum growing. As you can tell I am pretty excited for this snow to be gone and be able to get my hands dirty in the garden.
