Let’s talk tools shall we? Being a DIY person I am all about having the right tool for the right job. As a Lineman sometimes... or oftentimes it’s more like the wrong tool for the right job. The Lineman wrench has been a victim of this abuse for years. Most likely used as a hammer but sometimes the handle can be placed in an eye nut to get that last 1/4 turn needed to make the eye nut straight. Don’t ask how I know this but I just do. :wink:wink So let’s take a look at some good quality Tool Evolution - The Lineman Wrench
Now I don’t have the original Lineman wrench but I do have my original. It’s a miracle it has made it this long. Trust me, hand tools are always coming up missing. I find it fascinating to see how people can take one simple tool and make just a few changes and it can impact the user in a tremendous way. Kind of like the whole battery operated tool market... good lord that is amazing isn’t it?!?!? Well the Lineman wrench isn’t too high tech but the SOB better be tough, because if something can be broken... a Lineman will break it.
