The Kazurabashi is one of the many bridges across the Iya Valley, made completely from tree vines. The suspension bridge has a long but unknown history and is today the most popular destination for tourists to the region.
Below the bridge is the Iya river, some 14 metres down, with fast flowing water from the nearby mountains. The Iya river is by itself another great visiting spot, we shall talk about it another time.
The trip to Kazurabashi was a long drive as it its in the middle of Shikoku island. Roads leading there were narrow and winding too.
Watch us as we make the scary but fun experience of crossing the vine bridge!
