Hello dear Steemians... it's been awhile since I've uploaded my last karaoke video.
This time I upload a chinese song which was originally sung and composed by Han Hong.
The title of the song is "Tianliangle", which means "It's dawn (the day breaks)".
I was a bit taken aback that my little princess cried a little during the video recording but then smiled again after I nearly finished and told her that I'm there and will always be there for her.
As if she could sense what the song was trying to tell us about.
Han hong has written this song for her adoptive child who has lost its both parent in a cable car accident at 1999.
At first the child was assumed to be dead but it seemed that the parent have spent their last effort to protect their toddler and it was very fortunate that they really made it.
This song was telling us that parent would do their utmost for the wellbeing of their children even if it would mean giving up their life for it.
Han hong her self has also lost her father when he was a child and was basically given to the grandma to be raised as her mother was very busy working. So she is somehow an orphan longing for love too.
With this song she also wants to encourage her adoptive son, herself and other orphans in the world that even the darkest night will go and the dawn will break.
Life must go on, stay strong and everything will be better tomorrow.
As a mother my self... now I feel I can relate to the song better than before.
But I tell you all my female followers...
"Don't ever marry a biologist, if you're a specially delicate, sensitive and romantic type of a woman."
Do you know what my beloved hubby said to me when I explained the content of my video to him before I wrote this article?
This is literally what he said:
"My little Kobold, but we're the slave of our gene, have you forgotten that?
It's to be expected that we would do the best to protect our offspring, so that our gene would be passed on to the next generation. Our gene make us put our children as priority, exactly with the purpose so that they won't die out!"
Well... I was just speechless hearing his comment...
What a stupid me...
I should remember next time not to try telling him any warm, touching story anymore, because he would just shower me with a bucket of ice cold water anyway with his responses .·´¯(>▂<)´¯·.
Btw... if you want to sing together with me, here is the lyric in pin yin:
