As the festive season crosses from one to another, there are more and more purchased products for me to review.
But this was one of the "hot cakes" I just got yesterday; and if it is worth the money I was planning to get another longer one for my balcony for Christmas this year.
1. First Impression
The traditional lights my dad got before never had remote controls, usually the changes is stuck with the wire itself; and if you hung them too high and you wanted to change the settings, you got to climb up.
So this is already a plus for me.
2. First feel
I was pretty impressed that it was as per described that you can actually use a portal phone charging battery to power it, and this 5 year old Battery charger I got it in Netherlands still work remarkably well for the lights (and my usual charging)
Verdict: Yay or Nay for USD2.10 ?
Well, if you are seriously wanting to light up your house this will be a little short for you. It is only 3 meters length, and the maximum available length for USD 4.20 is only 5 meters.
Unless you know how to connect them together, this might just be cute enough for small displays and mini balconies.
Price wise?
Heck yeah. It is still worth it. Just hope it doesn't rust up easily.
This is the video
I wanted to surprise my parents with festive decorating lights, but wasn't sure whether this USB with remote control was worth the money.
It turned out pretty impressive, although it was a little challenging untangling the wire lights.
Nevertheless my parents were rather happy. That is enough #worthit for every dime.
