I love sunsets and sunrises but the latter is rather difficult to catch as I'm not an early riser. When I was in Japan recently, one of the hotels I stayed at was right the be sea. In the evening, I went up to the top floor lounge to watch the sunset, that's why in the time lapse video you see streaks on the screen, that's from the window.
Later on that night, I set my Go Pro up to take a time lapse for the sunrise. You can see the moon gradually moving upwards and finally disappear. Then there's a period of darkness throughout the night. That's when the screen goes black save the blinking light from my Go Pro. I make no apologies for including 30 seconds of black screen in my video as editing it out would lose the authenticity of the entire sunrise.
I hope you enjoy both the sunset and sunrise as much as I do.
