South Korea - do people really eat dogs here

Dog eating is no longer a common practice in South Korea although it is still possible to find restaurants that cater to those who do.

These days dogs have become an intrinsic part of Korean lives and people spoil them as much as any dog owner in the western world.

I have never eaten dog, although I must admit that I was at one point interested in venturing into that space as I am a curious dude, and try to, try anything at least once. As long as it's not life threatening. I would have to have been very drunk to actually do it and I came close to the point of eating dog meat only once in my stay in South Korea. That was 10 years ago and I am now far removed from those days. Luckily, or my dog might smell it on me.
