In Capetonians generally have the tradition of visiting the beach during the festive season as its high summer. Anf you will find the beaches even more pack on national public holidays.
Yesterday was New Years Day and of course the beaches were super packed!! I stay in the beach suburb of Muizenberg and my apartment building is right on the beach front, known as Surfer's Corner. We went up to the roof to get an ariel view of the hustle and bustle and made a little vid.
