Neutral work for most applications but colour is fun to play with. In this video, I will teach you one of many ways to apply blue eyeshadow.

In order to begin, you will need the following tools: eye primer or concealer, powder according to your skin tone, your favorite blue eyeshadows, a small eyeshadow-smudging brush (fluffier, round, brush), a blending brush and your favorite mascara.

Step 1:

Start with a clean base.

Step 2:

Apply concealer to your eyelids and blend it with fingers/brush or sponge. Also, don’t forget to set the concealer with setting powder.

Step 3:

Choose a shade that you like.

Step 4:

With your finger, apply color to the lid.

Step 5:

Continue applying from the lash line to the crease.

Step 6:

Layer a deeper medium blue shade on the outer corners by using a smudging eyeshadow brush and blend as you apply it. The correct shade will require little blending.

Step 7:

Blend the blue colors with your fingers or a clean brush and soften the edges.

Tip: If you have eyeshadow fallout use a clean brush to sweep it off. If this doesn’t work, use a nonoily makeup remover on a cotton swab or makeup sponge to gently clean the flakes off the skin.

Experiment with different colors to find the shades you like most.
