Jessi Uribe nació en la ciudad de Bucaramanga el 22 de marzo de 1987 Creció en un medio musical, su padre Fernando Uribe cantante de mariachi a quien le heredo el talento, lo llevaba a sus presentaciones en una discoteca reconocida de Bucaramanga desde muy temprano empezó a cantar en diferentes escenarios donde fue encontrando el gusto por el género popular y ranchero.
En el año 2008 se presento en un concurso llamado LATIN AMERICAN IDOL donde fue elegido entre 30.000 participantes y solo 20 artistas de Colombia fueron a representarnos en Argentina, logrando así formar parte de los 50 mejores de Latinoamérica
