[EP135] - What do you think about the cost of water?

Hope you're all well!

Most countries are charging not nearly enough for water.
I understand it's controversial... people can barely make ends meet now, increasing their costs for a resource that is essentially a human right is not going to make anyone popular... but currently countries and companies are misusing one of our most precious resources. At the rate we're going so many cities are going to straight up run out of water.

There are so many things that farms and companies can do to use water more efficiently... but at the moment those things are more expensive than just using water crazily... so until water costs more, these methods won't be used... like drip feeds for crops instead of spraying water. Drip feeds require a lot of piping, and so they are expensive... but the water savings are huge.

I've always tried to conserve water, even as a kid, even though I'm in an area that rains a lot... but there's no amount of conservation that I can do that will ever equal what a farm or company can do.

Is this something you're worried about? Or do you think I'm worrying for nothing?
