Oh, the Joy of driving an 80,000 pound semi truck through the ice and snow!
This was last week during the big snowstorm that hit the Northeastern United States. I started out the morning in central Maine (which is pretty far north for those of you who aren't from here) and made my way a few hundred miles down to a company terminal in Central Connecticut where I had to park for the night. The snow was just so bad! I saw several stranded trucks, a few cars that went off the road, it was literally a foot of snow just DUMPED across the northeast.
The media called it a "Bomb Cyclone", now how accurate that is, I'm not sure :p https://www.nbcnews.com/news/weather/millions-face-snow-travel-chaos-bomb-cyclone-bears-down-northeast-n834521
