I wrote a song once (okay many times) about impossible love. What does that mean? Impossible love. It is a thing that exists. It's quite a dark place.
Sometimes that's just how things are. Maybe it's unrequited. Maybe it isn't unrequited but maybe life has placed a couple into very different worlds that can never co-exist on a healthy level. Maybe one of them died. Maybe all it would take is one kiss, one step forward, one great leap into the darkness, trusting that a light would be there in the middle.
Isn't so easy sometimes. Sometimes it really is forever impossible. Perhaps one kiss wouldn't hurt. Maybe, though, it would doom the world forever. Life gives no answers sometimes. The word most often repeated here is sometimes. Get that?
Lyrics:
Crow Song
As the wind comes to play
I shall hang from the trees
by the feet of a crow
And I will blow a kiss to you
And I will whisper to the moon
and to the stars and the clouds
and you'll know
that the moon can't forgive
and the stars, they just know
and the clouds melt away
like the snow
like the snow
If this tree
burns straight down
to the ground
and the crow
lets me go
and I run
Kiss me softly
(my dear)
and pretend (not to know)
Cause my heart
can't bare
to be thrown
to the crow.
