I was just wandering back from my park run this a.m. when I bumped into some members of ‘Extinction Rebellion’ in my local park. They gave me a 'REBEL' leaflet, which was handy, as I was short on ideas for what to do this early afternoon.
So instead of lounging around the house I joined 200 or so other wierdos for a wander around Hereford to sing songs, do a ‘die in’ and a declaration of rebellion against the government for ‘crimes against humanity’.
Not bad for a 'stumble upon'!
The only downside to the event was that I didn't have any real opportunity to market steem, even though the anti-government vibe going around at the local level fitted right in with this particular hyper global crypto space.
I actually had to hold myself back from nabbing an announcement slot during the speeches at the end…. that would have been too out of the blue to attract anyone.
For the next meeting I’m going to make myself a large ‘steem banner’ and a few leaflets - should be good.

BTW 'Extinction Rebellion' are the same bunch who shut down the bridges in London the other week! Handy to have something going on right on my doorstep.
