HI dtubers i just want to share my RECIPE for today.
Pininyahang Manok in Filipino, translates to pineapple chicken. This Recipe calls for chicken slices to be marinated in pineapple juice then stewed with pineapple chunks.The sweetness of pineapple blends perfectly with this standout chicken dish.
INGREDIENTS:
1 small onion, peeled and thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 medium carrot - sliced
2 medium potatoes - cut into wedges
1 kilo chicken, cut ups
1 tbsp patis/fish sauce
1 pineapple chunks
1 pepper
HOW TO COOK:
- Marinate the chicken in pineapple juice (derived from the can of pineapple chunks) for 20 to 30 minutes
- get a pan and make it nice and hot over medium high heat. Pour some oil and throw in the onions and garlic
- Add 1kilo chicken marinade
- Add the tomatoes, carrots and pineapple chunk
- Continue to simmer for about 5 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
- add the pineapple syrup
- Add the evap milk and fish souce
- Simmer uncovered for 3-5 minutes while stirring continuously.
