Mashing In
In this video, we are mashing in the grain. This means we are mixing the grain (12 lbs) into the 152-degree water. This process converts the starch from the grain into sugar. This is an important step that will affect both the alcohol content and the taste of the beer.
Keep in mind we did this while playing in the Steem Poker League, true multi-tasking.
