Based on George Gershwin's "I Got Rhythm," I came up with the main melody to "Boo Hop" at work once when I was trying to think of the fastest bebop riff-based melody I could come up with. It then just repeated over and over in my head. My friend then adapted it for his funk group and sent me a recording, and I took the ideas he added to the tune and incorporated them into this performance. I am playing trombone.
