This image is for a title screen. Ballistic Racer, a unity game that the classmates in are community college is working on for a class. I'm going to give away some details that create it fast, along with a video. Ballistic Racer is scifi racing game meaning drawing out the ships from scratch would be hard, take a lot of skill and precision. As well as some technical use of perspective. A day before starting on this image, I imported one of my character rigs into Clip Studio Paint and realize you could use this as reference.
When I got around to starting this project, I realized something kind of amazing. The 3D objects in the scene as they appear in the camera view. Act as photoshop layers that can be paint on top of.
Then I created borders around the 3D object with the magic wand and paint the ships properly. I populated the scene with other ingame assets to make it seem like the ships were on a track. The image in the top right of the screen is the old title screen that was going to replace. Before I realized how useful 3D could be in Clip, I was going to draw out the background from scratch, but decided against that eventually.
