2 Minute Dad Talk - Will You Feel Alone?

I was walking out the front door this morning to go to work and one of my daughters asked, "Will you feel lonely?"

My wife and kiddos are going to a city south of where we live to run some errands, to visit with some friends, and to have some fun.

I have the blessing of coming home for lunch each day and spending time with my family. My daughter's concern was that I would be all by myself and that I would feel alone.

I need alone time. I am an introvert so I need time away from people to recharge my batteries. It is hard to find alone time in a house full of 6 kids.

So I am enjoying a quiet lunch. I am enjoy the some extra peace-and-quiet. And I also look forward to seeing everyone later this afternoon.
