Watch to the end to see the cheap stuff. The crazy easy way to feed my chickens for just $0.024 per chicken plus 2 cent in other feed and supplies per day. Yes that is 4.4 cents per chicken per day. Plus table scraps. Out of 5 chicken I get 3 - 5 eggs per day. Cheaper then store cost for eggs, and people told me I could not save money feeding chickens.
I use Rye, $9 per bag and I feed .6 pounds per day after it grows for about 5 - 7 days. Other grains can also be used like wheat or oats. They can also be mixed. Use grains that have nothing added.
