Day 2 since being laid off, an interview might be on the horizon, there may be hope! I just don't want to get my hopes up too high...
My piece of advice, if you're also desperate to find a job, don't be afraid to accept a job offer, in case you think it'll be a terrible job, or if you think you'll loose that job, go for it anyway! It's better to be looking for a job, while you've got a shitty one, then to look for a job when you don't have one at all.
