As much as I am ready to move out of New York City to build a homestead, there many things I will miss...and this is why we are building 2 hours away from this Rat's Nest.

I have a Love ~ Hate relationship with this city!

One of the many things I will miss is the abundance of treasure to be found on the streets discarded as garbage! I once found a stainless steel dishwasher only three weeks after we had decided we had the space for a small one in our barely 500 square foot apartment.... The power of attraction is a whole other story but we found a perfectly working dishwasher that was only 2 years old and was 18 inches as we needed it to be!
