Some new names have hit the NCAA Basketball Transfer Portal.
This is quite a different time to be a College Basketball player. Immediate eligibility upon transferring and as of July 1, the ability to be compensated for one's name, image, and likeness. Some major names jumped into the portal recently and they are players who could help a team win a championship of some form.
Kevin Obanor - Oral Roberts
Oral Roberts made quite a run in the 2021 NCAA Tournament reaching the Sweet 16 before falling to Arkansas in a drama-filled 72-70 game. Obanor and Max Abmas played a massive role in carrying Oral Roberts from a #15 seed to the Sweet 16 knocking on the door of the Elite 8.
The 6'8" Stretch 4 sporting a 45.3% three point shooting percentage and a 24.1% defensive rebounding rate will have a lot of interest from multi-bid conference programs. He has one year of eligibility left.

Kofi Cockburn - Illinois
Illinois has overhauled their entire staff of assistant coaches and it should not be a surprise that something like this would happen. Cockburn is an elite post and at 7'0" 285 pounds, he is as imposing as it gets. He's dominant on both the offensive and defensive glass, a solid shot blocker, and he draws a lot of fouls.

The speculation from Aaron Torres indicates that Kentucky would get him and that his addition would result in the scariest frontcourt duo in the country with West Virginia transfer Oscar Tshiebwe.
Jaden Shackelford - Alabama
When it rains, it pours. The defending SEC Champions lost Josh Primo to the NBA Draft and now lose Jaden Shackelford to the NBA Draft or to another school via the transfer portal. The 6'3" Shooting Guard was a major part of the explosive space and pace offense of Nate Oats in the 2020-21 Season.
Shackelford is a career 35.1% three point shooter and he thrived in Nate Oats' offense. He provides a very credible perimeter threat on offense. Building consistency as a shooter and establishing some form of a defensive presence should be top priorities for him and anyone who is coaching him next season.
