Aug. 22, 2016- Manila Philippines - Philippine president Rodrigo Roa Duterte removes thousands of present and past presidential appointed government officials because of continuing corruption. Duterte specifically mentioned two government regulatory offices with continuing corruption which are the Land Transportation Franchise and Regulatory Board and Land Transportation Office.
In his press conference early Sunday morning , president Duterte declared all presidential appointees which are numbering in thousands to left their post vacant. Please watch video snippet below.
