A while ago, I came across an article about painting yellow wargaming miniatures. Yellow, apparently, is a difficult colour to paint, so I thought "why paint it at all, why not dye it instead?" I cook with turmeric a lot (it's good for you), and it stains everything other than glass and polished metal. Therefore, I decided to stain some of my white models, just to see what they would look like. I documented the short experiment and put it up on BitChute:
I dyed several other models as well, and I may dye some of my miniature tanks, both the white ones and the green ones. Anything is better than white for photographs, and the addition of yellow may actually improve the green colour (although, truth be told, I've actually grown quite fond of the evergreen-coloured tanks).
