New month. Another chance at bliss I reckon. But pain and chaos most likely will prevail because humanity keeps repeating everything that breaks it. G20 summit taking place in Rome right now on climate change. Guess what all the countries agree that climate change is the biggest threat the world is facing but they are only proposing mediocre solutions. No one wants to commit to real hardcore changes to fight climate change. Well that is humans for you. We love to procrastinate. We always want to have the advantage. Even if the world is dying we still want to win. What's there to win though? A drowned world? An earth on fire? I guess that’s why they are busy trying to conquer space. Man wants to abandon earth for other planets. Am not holding my breath. Sounds like a pipe dream to me.
We need to stop poisoning the only home we have. We must protect and preserve it for the next generations. Change is scary but necessary for what we need to do to save ourselves. The onus is on us to step up like warriors. It’s a battle. A struggle for life. We are going to have to commit everything one hundred percent to the cause. I hope November opens all our eyes to see what’s really at stake.
