So, it's been about a week since the earthquake that hit Venezuela (and was felt powerfully in Trinidad and Tobago). Many of the people I've spoken to are still a bit anxious. Sometimes we think we feel the ground move but we're not sure. And that makes sense because our seismology unit has recorded over 40 aftershocks.
Most of them were probably too mild to get any attention. At least one was somewhat intense but never knowing when they'll happen can put you on edge. Especially with stories of similar earthquakes causing much more damage.
I'll be staying as calm as I can. We've been fortunate and hopefully we'll continue to be.
