Plans seem to be moving in the right direction; she still has it set(or her son Chris in Managua does) so that on Sunday the 11th, guys from the ministry of health will come TO HER COMPOUND, and give her and William (the son who lives with her) their Covid tests.
Then (she said she assumed) she would ride back to Managua with them in the ambulance, stay overnight with her son (who knows how long it will be before she'll see him again?😥) then take the medivac out to Canada.
There, she will have to be tested again, and stay in the 'quarantine hotel' for several days before going on to her cousin's in Hamilton (I think) for the rest of the 14 day quarantine
Now keep in mind, she had surgery for a broken hip in Jan. Without Anesthesia 😱, and has been lying in bed ever since, because she has no one but William there, no rehab, no medical visits etc...
When I had my hip replaced, they told me DO NOT LAY IN BED, get up and walk.
She can't do that, the pain is debilitating, she weighs less that 100 lbs now. I don't know who changes her diapers.
(she said that is the most humiliating thing she's ever endured)
So once out of the quarantine hotel in Canada, she would be needing medical care, treatment, exams etc.... who's going to pay for that?
Her Canadian health ins had lapsed because she'd been out of the country, and had been told that it would be 6 months before it kicked back in.
So her son in Canada has some pull with the gov't, (he's the one to finally Kick Ortega's Nicaraguan Ass and let them out, let a medivac in) has somehow gotten it set so that she will have medical care right away after quarantine for $57 per month, until the Canadian system picks back up. I think her son is picking up that tab.
So testing on the 11th, departure on the 12th, and hopefully by the 15th, she will once more be in a secure, healthy and familial setting
Also, since she is not as versed as I thought in converting crypto to usable fiat currency, her son in Canada will help her set up a PayPal account.
I'm not sure therefore, if I will send her the HIVE I've been accumulating for her, or convert it myself and send THAT via Paypal.
Which ever is the case, those of you who have helped me, donated funds etc... rest assured that I will get yours, and all the Hive I've been getting for the last 2 months to her in one form or another. Anything anyone wishes to contribute, will also go to her, and I will show proof of having sent it to her.

You have no idea how much it lifts her up to know so many people are helping and wishing her well.
