I live in a village or village where the majority of the population work as farmers. Various agricultural products produced by farmers in my village. One type of agricultural product in my village is sweet corn.
I'm sure my friends all know and know the fruit of corn. But I'm still not sure do you all know about corn tree? Maybe there are also friends who are not familiar with corn plants, especially friends who live in big cities. This is a photo of a corn plant.
There are two types of corn grown in my village, namely ordinary corn and sweet corn. Both the corn plant and the fruit have the same shape and color, the only difference being the taste. Common corn or called field corn does not have a sweet taste and is usually used as bird food. While sweet corn tastes sweet and is used as an ingredient for consumption. Sweet corn is mostly sold whole, while field corn is usually sold after it has been peeled and dried.
Sweet corn is generally harvested when it is still young, while field corn is harvested after the fruit is a bit old. So sweet corn plants harvest faster about half the age of two and a half months.
Sweet corn is consumed by burning, boiling or as a complement to vegetables.
