Hello folks in this post I will discuss some of my all time favourite classics, that I keep reading from time to time.
Sun Tzu| Art Of War
This book is a gem when it comes to understading the tactics and strategy formulations. It was orignally meant only to be used as a warfare guide, but today it's teachings and principles can be applied in our day to day handling of business, teamwork and a lot more. It's one of the rare gems of the ancient past.
The Chronicles Of Narnia
This book is a classic fantasy adventure novel. You can read it once, then twice and then even more, and you will still want to read it. On first glance, it appears to be a fairytale adventure but the philosphical and spiritual undertones are very strong throughout the novel. It is also one of the earliest novels to talk about parallel worlds or multiverse as we call it now.
The Phoenix and The Carpet
This book is not very famous amongst many kids, but is an all time classic, with some remarkable teachings for young kids and growing up teens. It is one of the only classics in English as far as I know which speak of sand fairy, a rather unfamiliar character that does not appear much in other novels beyond this series.
The Lord Of The Rings
One ring to rule them all, is a saying that you will find in this series a lot, and quite possibly this entire classic is the king of all classics ever written, first the character interplay, second the storyline, and third the adventure climax and ending. You will not be able to stop reading this book series till the very end. It is a high fantasy, action thriller with elements of sci fiction thrown into it, what with all the medival high tech warefare that seems to border both magic and high technology. It also introduces us to a highly complex fictious language, spoken by the characters in the novel complete with it's own set of grammar rules. This book is a must read for every native english speaker as well as non speakers of the language, since it's a gem of classics.
