I do not know how the promote option works. i onky use the boost option because I know ecency will give upvotes depending on how much points you use.

This is interesting. I recently started using ecency. Just a week ago and I'm loving the front-end already. They have really cool features.

I've used my ecency points to promote some of my posts, but I still haven't worked out the difference between Boost and Promote.
