Why is the news hating on the world economy?

Why would the media want to lie to everybody, so consistently? I know the media lied about the U.S. market all the way to the top, so I guess they are going, simultaneously lie from every country over again, all the way to the top. Doesn't the media understand that people can just look at a chart and see that everyone of them is lying?
