How to stay balanced and positive?
This, the lockdown, is one of the best things that could happen to me and my children. Finally, we are free, can live by our own biorhythm instead of being pushed by the outside world, society, schools, agenda, time tables. There's no need to travel to find yourself, meet yourself, get into balance. Stay home and it will all work out fine. A real lockdown would be if you are alone, no radio, internet, tv, locked up, thrown into the hole. It's what we do with prisoners.
We wake up when our body is ready, go to bed when we feel to. We have our own place, a huge garden, we can go outside, go for a walk and sit outside unless the wind blows us off our socks.
No one ever visits us and we visit no one. It has always been that way and the good thing is these days no one can force us to show up anywhere either. So stop the whining you have plenty of windows to the outside.
It's a pity I can not be with my daughter during Eastern since the borders are closed but it's not the end of the world either. I will buy some chocolate eggs extra for us and save myself a few hundred euros of petrol, hotel, and extra shopping.
Not much is needed to feel happy and satisfied.
The only thing I need is room for me, no rush, a cup of hot tea, a quiet environment and with some luck no allergies.
I have it all here plus the internet, movies, books. There is nothing more I could wish for.
This is my answer to the ecoTrain QOTW: "What do you do to stay balanced and positive whilst on lockdown?". I would say please, let us focus on something else for a change. It's getting boring and killing to read each time the same question. If you feel bored you are because you choose to be bored like
wrote lately. Inside you can move too and eating less will do many goods.
