The dog needed a walk and I needed to get out of the house. I didn't have my walking boots, but thought I'd chance it. The pavements were pretty clear, but we soon found the snow. This was around 11am, but the sun stays low in the sky, making for long shadows.
This was our target. The antenna is near the top of Blackford Hill. There's a series of steps most of the way.
It was really busy up there. Lots of families put for a walk. Some had their sleds. One boy was sledding in shorts! It's worth the walk for the view. You could see for many miles today and it wasn't windy this time.

I felt for the waterfowl in the pond down below. It has to be cold.
The bowling green was more of a bowling white.
In the end my shoes kept my feet dry, if not warm. I was glad to get back to a warm house and some coffee.
