Hoy domingo quiero compartir algo que me llena de orgullo como docente y como persona: un proyecto que vengo desarrollando junto a mis estudiantes en el taller de electrónica de la escuela técnica donde enseño.
Soy Maestro de Enseñanzas Prácticas en una Escuela Técnica de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, donde trabajo con alumnos de primer año del primer ciclo y tercer año del segundo ciclo.
Hoy quiero centrarme en los más pequeños —a quienes cariñosamente llamo “los de Primerito”.
A Nuestra escuela concurren estudiantes de diversas nacionalidades (Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Brasil, Paraguay, República Dominicana, Colombia, Venezuela, China, Japón, India, entre otros. Una verdadera comunidad de ciudadanos del mundo.) y realidades sociales: compartiendo un mismo espacio de aprendizaje, respeto y crecimiento.
El Proyecto L.E.S. surge con un objetivo doble: enseñar los principios básicos de la electrónica y despertar conciencia ambiental.

Hello Hive community
Today, Sunday, I want to share something that fills me with pride as a teacher and as a person: a project that I have been developing with my students in the electronics workshop of the technical school where I teach.
I am a Practical Teaching Teacher at a Technical School in the City of Buenos Aires, where I work with first-year students of the first cycle and third year of the second cycle.
Today I want to focus on the little ones—whom I affectionately call “the First Ones.”
Students of various nationalities attend our school (Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, China, Japan, India, among others.
A true community of world citizens) and social realities: sharing the same space for learning, respect and growth.
The L.E.S. Project It arises with a double objective: to teach the basic principles of electronics and to raise environmental awareness.
A partir de materiales accesibles, los estudiantes diseñan un circuito en serie sencillo pero cargado de significado. Los componentes son: una resistencia, un diodo LED de alto brillo, un interruptor y una pila.
Con estos elementos, los estudiantes construyen su propia lámpara ecológica.
En el proceso, aprenden sobre corriente, polaridad y consumo energético, pero también sobre cómo la tecnología puede ponerse al servicio de la sustentabilidad y del bien común.
Más que un trabajo práctico, es una forma de aprender haciendo, de conectar cabeza y corazón, ciencia y conciencia
Como decía Paulo Freire: “la educación no cambia el mundo: cambia a las personas que van a cambiar el mundo.”
Esta frase guía mi forma de enseñar. No busco solo que los estudiantes comprendan un circuito, sino que comprendan su propio poder transformador.
Cada lámpara encendida simboliza una mente que empieza a brillar, una curiosidad que se enciende, una posibilidad que se abre.

Using accessible materials, students design a simple but meaningful series circuit. The components are: a resistor, a high-brightness LED diode, a switch and a battery.
With these elements, students build their own ecological lamp.
In the process, they learn about current, polarity and energy consumption, but also about how technology can be put at the service of sustainability and the common good.
More than a practical job, it is a way of learning by doing, of connecting head and heart, science and consciousness
As Paulo Freire said: “education does not change the world: it changes the people who are going to change the world.”
This phrase guides my way of teaching. I'm not just looking for students to understand a circuit, but to understand their own transformative power.
Each lit lamp symbolizes a mind that begins to shine, a curiosity that lights up, a possibility that opens.
Mi forma de enseñar está atravesada por mi historia personal.
Conocí el hambre, el frío y el desarraigo familiar. Perdí a mi padre y a un hermano a los 25 años, y tuve que hacerme cargo de mi madre y mis hermanos.
Todo eso me volvió una persona resiliente, con una mirada profundamente humanista.
No tolero la injusticia y creo que la educación tiene un poder transformador inmenso, especialmente en contextos vulnerables.
Por eso enseño con compromiso, creatividad y amor. Cada clase intento hacer algo distinto, algo que despierte la curiosidad y la participación de los estudiantes.

My way of teaching is crossed by my personal history.
I knew hunger, cold and family uprooting. I lost my father and a brother at the age of 25, and I had to take care of my mother and my brothers.
All of this made me a resilient person, with a deeply humanistic outlook.
I do not tolerate injustice and believe that education has immense transformative power, especially in vulnerable contexts.
That's why I teach with commitment, creativity and love. Each class I try to do something different, something that awakens the curiosity and participation of the students.
Antes de ser docente, trabajé más de diez años en una importadora eléctrica, y pasé por varias metalúrgicas y talleres.
Aprendí desde abajo: logística, materiales, electricidad industrial, soldadura.
Más tarde completé mi formación pedagógica en la UTN Avellaneda.
Fuera del aula, me apasionan la fotografía, la filosofía, la psicología y el análisis del comportamiento humano.
Disfruto leer, dibujar, cocinar, mirar cine clásico, escuchar música de todos los estilos y disfrutar de la cultura popular.
Soy fan de los Volkswagen clásicos (la combi T1, T2 y el Beetle ), los cómics y los bares notables de Buenos Aires
Todas esas experiencias —laborales, personales y culturales— me formaron como el docente que soy hoy: uno que enseña con el corazón, que cree en la educación como una práctica de libertad, que busca despertar en cada estudiante curiosidad, creatividad y conciencia.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked for more than ten years in an electrical importer, and I worked at several metallurgical plants and workshops.
I learned from the bottom: logistics, materials, industrial electricity, welding.
Later I completed my pedagogical training at the UTN Avellaneda.
Outside of the classroom, I am passionate about photography, philosophy, psychology, and the analysis of human behavior.
I enjoy reading, drawing, cooking, watching classic movies, listening to music of all styles and enjoying popular culture.
I am a fan of classic Volkswagens (the T1, T2 combi and the Beetle), comics and notable bars in Buenos Aires.
All of those experiences—work, personal, and cultural—formed me as the teacher I am today: one who teaches from the heart, who believes in education as a practice of freedom, who seeks to awaken curiosity, creativity, and awareness in each student.
El Proyecto L.E.S. no es solo una lámpara: es una metáfora del aula misma, un espacio donde encendemos pequeñas luces cada día, donde aprendemos que la energía más poderosa es la que nace del entusiasmo, la cooperación y el amor por aprender.
Enseñar es encender pequeñas luces en medio de la oscuridad.
Cada alumno que comprende cómo fluye la corriente o por qué un LED brilla, también aprende algo sobre sí mismo: que con esfuerzo, curiosidad y acompañamiento, todo puede iluminarse.

The L.E.S. Project It is not just a lamp: it is a metaphor for the classroom itself, a space where we turn on small lights every day, where we learn that the most powerful energy is that which is born from enthusiasm, cooperation and the love of learning.
Teaching is turning on little lights in the middle of the darkness.
Each student who understands how current flows or why an LED shines also learns something about himself: that with effort, curiosity and support, everything can light up.
