definition of pronoun:(اسم ضمیر کی تعریف)

A word used in place of noun is called pronoun.

وہ لفظ جو اسم کی جگہ استعمال ہو اسم ضمیر کہلاتا ہے۔

Examples of Pronoun:

I,We,They,You etc

Kinds of pronoun:(اسم ضمیر کی اقسام)

Personal Pronoun:(اسم ضاتی)

Following are examples of personal pronoun.

He,She,It,I,We,They,You

Possessive Pronoun:(اسم اضافی)

used as possessive adjectives.

Examples are 

My,Your,Our,her,its,their etc.

Reflexive Pronoun:(اسم غیر شعور)

Examples are himself,herself,yourself,themselves etc.

Emphasizing Pronoun:(اسم تاکید)

They emphasize action of verb.They are also called intensive verb.

e.g 

They perform duty themselves.

He cares himself.

Demonstrative Pronoun:(اسم مضاہر)

e.g

This,That, These, Those

Interrogative pronoun:(اسم سوالیہ)

e.g

Who,Whose,whom,which,what ,where ,when

Relative pronoun:(اسم موصول)

e.g

The book which you like.

The man who met me.

The girl that is at the door.

Indefinite pronoun: (اسم غیر معین)

e.g

Anyone,anybody,someone,somebody,anything etc.
