I watched the video several times on facebook. My Facebook feed has tons of information from different organizations. But I hope some of you might watch the video before. Last two-three hours, I was doing nothing but watching such inspirational videos including Norman King's achievement.
I loved it very much because of his confidence. Wise people don't speak but they complete it. He did it for himself, for his country and for Aeta in Philippine.
His mother was best educator who taught him how to overcome challenges in life. People should be happy with their situation. But yes, we need to go forward. Norman King did it. He studied but did not forget her mother's advice. All mother should teach their children how to be satisfied. It should start from early age.
The video means to me a lot. I really feel happy and I don't want to hide my facts that I am from lower income. But situation changed for education last decade. We all knows what to do and what not to do now. I didn't face situation like Norman which is horrible. But I was insulted several time at school for clothing. Only the slum school was best time as their was not any dress code and lots of fun. University students has free space to practice their individual culture. Why not we try to keep ourselves genuine rather than adaptation?
